During the first covid-19 lockout in 2020, the artist, like all French citizens, was summoned to stay at home by the French government. Her inspiration from new landscapes and outside places was at a standstill. To get around the government's instructions, she escaped into some tourism magazines.
From these escapes, « Trop Beau », forged landscapes composition, was born. The illusion of true nature is ubiquitous, because these unattainable environments are composed from touristic photographs' cut-outs, before being photographed again, then printed through heliogravure (a photo printing process dating back to the XIX century, this photo technique is created from a photo transfer on a copper plaque thanks to a gelatine paper).

« The exhibition organised by Agathe Schneider on invitation by Tristan Abarnou (…) Eight artists (…) developed this exhibition for the Lavoisier building of the university campus of Mont-Saint-Aignan, Rouen. The result was an ephemeral take on a very specific space with a lot of passage and a particular architecture. Suffering from degradations such as water leaks, as well as wear on walls and floors, these became points of reflection, or points of interest. » - Edith Doove
